With just hours left to the end of 2025, luxury tequila brand Don Julio, in partnership with Baoli Restaurant, is set to host a New Year’s Eve countdown party at Baoli’s rooftop in Nsambya.
The event will be headlined by Rwandan music star Mike Kayihura and is expected to usher revellers into 2026 with live performances, DJ sets, and curated tequila cocktail experiences.
Kayihura, known for his distinctive sound and genre-blending style, is expected to perform some of his popular songs, including Tuza, Elevated, Zuba, I Will Be There, and Boneza.
He will be joined on stage by DJs Anslem, Tune J, Kash Pro, and Vanns, who organisers say will keep the energy high throughout the night.
Don Julio will showcase a range of its tequila offerings, including cocktails and bottle service featuring Blanco, Añejo, Reposado, and Don Julio 1942.
Judie Nandekya, the Senior Brand Manager for Tequila and Rum East Africa, said the brand is using the celebration to mark the transition into the new year with a premium experience.

Entry to the New Year’s Eve countdown party is priced at Shs100,000 for a single pass. A table for five costs Shs1.5 million and includes a bottle of Don Julio, a platter for eight, mixers, and water.
A table for eight is priced at Shs3 million and comes with two bottles of Don Julio, sparkling wine, a platter, mixers, and a watch. Tickets are available via Quicket.
